Most of us have had the experience, and all too often, of spending time with someone after which one feels completely drained.  These are the energy thieves, and if we can we try to avoid them.  But there is something more valuable to be learned here.  Discovering the CAUSE of the phenomena puts YOU at cause, and leads you to what LRH refers to as man’s highest virtue.

Few people go through life without making enemies. Gone are the days of settling disputes through a duel, a showdown with a six-gun on your hip, or, as was once done in English public schools, a few rounds in the boxing ring.

Today, the most common way to destroy someone is to destroy their reputation—usually from a hidden source. It is a cowardly operation, but that does not make it any less painful or destructive.
